Background and Interests

After completing an undergraduate degree in mathematics, I worked in the corporate world in the fields of actuarial and employee benefits consulting. In 1996, after some soul-searching, I decided it was time to make a change and pursue a career in psychology, a long-held passion of mine. For the past two plus decades, I have maintained a part-time private clinical psychology practice while also raising two children.

When I'm not working, my hobbies and interests include DIY projects, stand-up-paddle boarding, skate skiing, and of course, spending time with my beloved spouse, family, and friends. I have a deep love of the Sierra Nevada mountain range and immerse myself in its majestic beauty whenever I can.
